From the soundtrack album of "Before Next Spring" produced by Hualun in 2020

HuaLun's music gives me an icy gush of warmth, reflecting my ideals. During the endless nights of polishing the script, I became over-fixated with “The Bastard”(soundtrack from An Elephant Sitting Still). Before Next Spring shares my slightly lukewarm personality, therefore I need Hua Lun to inject a sense of bullheadedness for it to become more energized. Alas I have an “old soul”, which is drawn towards things of the past. Hua Lun slowed down their explorations for the new, turned back and pulled me forward step-by-step. It is fortunate to have company who would not abandon me during the creative process. I am grateful for having Hua Lun writing music for Before Next Spring. Their music is like a light breeze, invisible and untouchable, yet when it brushes by, thoughts and emotions emerge. When it gently leaves, you know it will return before long.

“Before Next Spring: Original Soundtrack” (aka. Fuchinobe) is the music band Hualun’s second soundtrack album following “An Elephant Sitting Still.” It also marks their debut appearance in theatrically released film. In this soundtrack, Hualun followed the characters into a Chinese restaurant on the outskirts of Tokyo. Amidst the changing seasons, Hualun delicately wove encounters and departures into the quietly warming chorus.

花伦的音乐让我感受到一股冷冷的暖，有我心目中想要成为的样子。改剧本有许多个夜晚，我在《坏孩子的天空》中一个人钻着牛角尖儿。《有一天》像我的性格，有些温吞，我需要花伦让它多一股倔强，变得更有劲儿。而我有个“老灵魂”，总喜欢旧旧土土的东西。花伦便在《有一天》中放慢了寻找新鲜的脚步，反过头拽上我一点一点往前走。创作的路途中遇到不会丢掉自己的同伴，真是幸运。谢谢花伦为《有一天》创作的音乐，像是一阵风，看不见也摸不着，当它轻轻吹过，有些心绪自然会涌上心头。当它轻轻飘走，你知道总有一天它还会回来。

《如果有一天我将会离开你》又名《渊野边》，是花伦乐队再一次与电影合作的原声配乐专辑，也是第一部步入电影院的作品。此次的音乐创作中，花伦跟随角色们步入东京市郊的中华料理店“南国亭”，在四季变化中捕捉离散，又在沉默之际，附上温暖和鸣。
